Laptop still dead. Not sure I can afford to have it repaired right yet. Wii internet hates Tumblr so I can’t log in.

Had a sore throat for most of Sunday, so I’m pretty sure I’ll be getting a full-blown cold in a day or two. I hate colds.

Had jury duty yesterday. Defendant waived his right to a trial, so basically I get $10 for reading Douglas Adams & watching MonsterQuest.

actually I can access individual Tumblogs but not the dashboard, and I can’t log in or post from Tumblr itself via the Wii.

YES it worked! It never seemed to before for some reason. Anyway, laptop still borked. Using my Wii for net access but Wii hates Tumblr.

Anyone know anything about computers?

My laptop’s AC adapter decided it didn’t want to power the laptop anymore, so it’s running on battery power right now and I have around 60% life remaining.  I can’t get the damn thing to charge.  It happened early Wednesday morning but I got it to work again somehow, and it was fine yesterday, but today no matter what I do it stubbornly refuses to switch over to AC power and/or charge the battery.  The little green light on the adapter is on, so IDK if it’s the battery, the laptop, the adapter, or the connector pins.

Laptop is a Dell Latitude D800, I got it used for Christmas ‘10.

anyway if I’m not on for a while, it means my laptop is dead.　

I’m not even close to being done, I just got finished with the D’s (going by last name of artist, not first like they do).

also holy effing fuckballs adding a new artist/CD they don’t have in their database is annoying as all fuck. >:/

I did realise that grabbing a handful of CD cases off the shelf and actually being able to check the catalog numbers/labels is FAR easier than repeated trips up and down to check each one ON the shelf, ha ha.
